iParticipate
15 million people are European citizens, but un-equal as citizens. They contribute to the well-being of their communities, but they are excluded from the right to vote as well as from the right to stand as candidate. They are excluded from the basic principle of our democracy. Why? Because they do not have the citizenship of an EU-state. More than 15 million citizens in the European Union are excluded from basic democratic participation: the right to vote.
Together with the initiative “Wahlkreis 100%” from Freiburg (germany) I developed the concept and corporate idendity for the “iParticipate”-campaign which raises awareness to this current situation. It was rolled out in May 2015 by six partners in Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal and Great Britain.
